It is already on the next 13th and 14th of October that the 6th. Edition of the Angolan University Programming Contest (AOCPC), which will feature more than 50 teams from more than 35 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), from the different academic regions of our country, where each team will be represented by three students and a coach .
According to the official note of the event, to which the editorial staff of MenosFios had access, in this year's edition the Angolan teams will compete online and in real time, from the premises of ISPTEC, which was chosen as the Angolan headquarters for the said event.
The winners of the national edition will represent the country in the African University Programming competition that will take place in Egypt, in the first half of December. The African teams that will qualify at continental level will participate in the world final, scheduled for next year.

To inform that the main objective of Angola's participation in this important event is limited to the promotion of knowledge and scientific-technological skills of HEIs, as well as in the field of computer programming or coding, which are essential realities for the insertion of Angola in the knowledge age.
AOCPC is an event that aims to promote creativity, new talent, teamwork and innovation in the construction of new software programs and allow national students to test their skills.
