In our searches for the “big web” Internet, we found an interesting article that lists some of the business models that have worked in Angola. At one point in the article, there is a reference to such a “Less wires“, I think they know…

The article is authored by Sousa Gaspar and was originally published on the official website Startup Angola Association . Without further ado, we leave the full article here.

Hello dear readers of startup angola !!!

In the last 3 years I noticed an interesting fact. People started to interact better with the internet. With the advent of social networks, the Internet is no longer (as it was commonly thought) people's thing chick's and intellectuals. But despite this hopeful scenario for digital entrepreneurs still arises a question. Does the internet business really work? In this article I tried to answer this question with a list of 5 business types that actually already work.

1. E-commerce

This super popular business model worldwide also works in Angola. It is true! I do not want to present theoretical evidence, but to show sites which already work for real, and if you wish to prove, just click and request the respective service. Well, let me first make it clear that many of the statements presented here are based on my personal experience and friends.

http://www.casacon.com an online store well complete where you can find "everything a little", from furniture to home to a simple skateboard for fun.

http://www.kompletus.com certainly the best known in the Angolan e-commerce market. It is not as big as casacon, but has a good variety of products. It is ideal for buying products like books, games and perfumes.

These stores support various forms of payments including transfers at local banks.

 2. Facebook commerce

I just got a name chick to classify this type of sale that is increasingly popular in Luanda and some provinces. These are companies and people who sell their products and / or services using profiles or Facebook pages. And does it really work? Yes it works and I confirm. I already bought some articles such as iPhone covers and the like. Below is a perfect example of what I say here.

www.facebook.com/atelierde.sonhos.7 company successful entrepreneur Silvia Figueiredo, who is dedicated to creating personalized decorative kit's for parties. More details, the page itself explains very well with the works posted there.

It works like this: all contacts with customers are made through the profile. Including samples of the final art. When the customer approves the sample, he makes the payment of 50%. Afterwards, prints and cuts of the decorative items are made and at the end the delivery (Courier) and the rest of the payment follow.

3. Blogging Professional

http://www.platinaline.com/ undoubtedly the largest official information portal of famous artists in Angola. Certainly the portal that shows the most (sells) advertising national level on the internet.

http://www.menosfios.com is already a mandatory reference when it comes to local information on technology and the like.

This business model works in most cases with the sale of targeted advertising and posts sponsored.

4. Delivery

http://www.sandwichangola.com/ website very tasty of sale of amburguers, bifanas and the like. Super functional and efficient (my experience). You ask for the website, they call to confirm and after a few minutes (varies according to where you are) your order finds you! Payment is made at the time you receive the order.

http://www.simchefe.co.ao A service of delivered very innovative. They have contact with several restaurants in the city of Luanda and if you want a meal from one of the restaurant they have agreement, just order that they bring the meal to you :-) . The service is still a bit expensive (Deliveries rates range from 1000Kz to 2.500Kz) but let's hope things improve.

In short, I mean that you who walk with that idea you think does not work because it is based on the internet, you can take it out of your mind and put it into practice. I do not guarantee it will work in pleinitude, but it's worth just trying. After all you do not lose anything for this and still run the risk of being more creative, to explore new solutions and who knows earn lots of money.

 5. ?
