The mobile network operator Africell, which started its services in Angola in the past April 07 day, has currently acquired more than two million subscribers, according to what was revealed by the Under Secretary of the United States, Wendy Sherman.
According to the diplomat, who was speaking at the end of her trip to Angola, she said that "this is a company that has been on the market for a month and has two million subscribers", noting that there has been a better business environment to invest in the country.
In the same vein, the non-executive Director of Africell, Peter Pham, predicted in 2021 that his company would make the “excessively cozy business environment”, giving even more light to the words of Wend Sherman, that North American companies who operate in Angola praise the good business environment that prevails in the country, in an economy rich in oil.

“There are still issues to be worked on, but they have seen a positive change, they see opportunities that did not exist before and they feel more confident”, said the US Under Secretary.
