O TikTok shared the third edition of the What's Next Report, an annual report from the company that outlines the main trends for the year. In the case of 2023, TikTok has three major trends for the coming months.

The first is that entertainment is becoming more and more personalized. TikTok's algorithm is one of the main strengths of the short video app, with 67% of users surveyed saying they use the app to relax during day-to-day breaks.

BUT: Europe threatens to ban the use of TikTok in the territory

Attesting to this idea is the second trend, namely the fact that 50% of people who participated in this report indicate that TikTok helps to improve their state of mind – thus providing more moments of relaxation.

Finally, the third trend is for users to discover more content outside their interests. The TikTok content creation community once again serves as a point of reference, with the company indicating that the app is twice as likely to capture user interest in more diverse topics.
