Only 200 startups are recognized by the National Institute for Support to Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM), according to the Angolan Association of Startups and Digital Entrepreneurship (AASED).
According to Lisa Videira, President of the organization, speaking at the end of a round table with the theme “The role of creative and digital economies in promoting Made in Angola and boosting the national economy”, AASED is bringing together the class of entrepreneurs to be able to define the best strategies for operating in the national market and enroll members in INAPEM, a public service supervised by the Ministry of Economy, responsible for monitoring, certifying and classifying micro, small and medium-sized companies.
According to what the MenosFios editorial staff found, a company certified by INAPEM enjoys several benefits such as Tax Reduction of up to 50% and Exemption from charges and fees.
The person responsible also informed that AASED is committed to contributing to the dissemination of national production, through Startups and digital entrepreneurs, with the aim of making the country's products better known, in the domestic and foreign markets.

At the event, part of the Expo Feito em Angola activity program, Lisa Videira said that Startups and digital entrepreneurs can contribute to the growth of the economy, helping to increase sales and producers' income, with the promotion and dissemination of various products , through digital platforms.
"The association, startups and digital entrepreneurs are available to contribute to the growth of the economy, using new information technologies, such as the internet and social networks, so that we can make the public aware of what is being done in Angola", said.
He explained that if a farmer is unable to sell his product, he can use the digital platform to sell his production. For the manager, a digital entrepreneur is someone who helps companies or producers to make products or services better known among the public.
"I believe that Startups and digital entrepreneurs can help the Executive solve problems that often slow down the growth of our economy, because we want to help increase family income and taxes for the State.“, he noted.
