Early Access to State of Decay on Steam

State of Decay is a game in 3ª person with an open world that portrays the history of a group of survivors during a zombie apocalypse. Released by Undead Labs in June of that year in XBox Live was recently made available to PC in the early access system on Steam. I must say, that although in Pc still be in beta and present some graphic flaws and occasional framerate drops, the game is quite fun and has a huge replay factor. And we can still say, there's not much that's more satisfying than breaking zombies in half with a frying pan or baseball bat, or more terrifying than looking for medicines in the middle of the night in a zombie-infested city. In addition there is a lot to do in the game, such as looking for food, weapons and medicines, managing and helping your community to grow, build and fortify bases to defend against zombie attacks, rescue fellows, etc. And a good mechanic included in the game is that you do not control just one character, but almost all of your community. After some time, when you notice that the character you are controlling is tired, you can switch to another without problems.

It is worth mentioning that death is permanent, so if a character dies you can no longer choose it, in addition to losing all the upgrades he had already won. Another thing that worked very well is the fact that the cars are limited in number, so you must resist whenever you can to the temptation to run over a bunch of undead, otherwise, after a while you can only walk, which is fine risky, especially at night.

A boring part of the game is that you should keep the community happy and for this you should help them solve their problems from time to time. Anyone who has played GTA IV should know what it is (yes Roman, I'm talking about you). And the game, for now, is only optimized to be played with a command, since the keyboard is not yet fully configured and can not be done manually.

So if you like a bit of tension, action and terror all in the same place, you should definitely keep State of Decay under radar until the official launch for PC, or if you're an adventurer like me you can get it on Steam in the Access model Anticipated for $ 19.99 right now.
