The MULTICAIXA Network was launched on April 18, 2002, at a time when the country was emerging from a period of armed conflict and where the rate of banking was low, there were few commercial banks and some distrust in the use of banking services by the population.
By celebrating its 21 years of service on the MULTICAIXA Network, which had a very large social impact over these years with the successive implementation of innovative, safe, fast and efficient services, EMIS (Empresa Interbancária de Serviços), has just added a feature that allows the user of the Multicaixa Express service to add payment cards instantly in the application without the need to go to a multicaixa.
That's right, that bureaucratic process that existed after receiving your ATM card from the bank has been eliminated, now you just need to access the application on your smartphone, go to the end of the "Start" area that allows you to view the existing cards on the platform, which you will find the option with the image below:
After clicking on the “+” sign, the application will request the multicaixa card number, the expiration date and you must click on the square where it says “I confirm that I have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions….“, where at the end you will be asked for your PIN to complete the operation. Once this is done, the multicaixa card will be visible in the application.
Viewer discretion: Remember, you should never share your ATM PIN with anyone, not even when you receive a call that supposedly comes from an employee of a bank where you are a customer.
