WhatsApp group administrators can now restrict sending messages

3201

Group Administrators on WhatsApp will now have greater control over the activities of each member of the conversations with the new feature that was implemented this Friday (29).

The feature allows group administrators to define those who can send messages, the administrator can choose the standard model, where all members write and send messages or decide only that moderators do the same.

The new option can be accessed in the group settings menu through the “Send Messages” button, which is able to disable the sending of messages only to certain specific users or even to all members of the chat sessions.

Novelty can be useful for corporate groups or that focus on large numbers of users, and you need to ensure that the recipient has viewed important messages or announcements.
