Currently some developed countries already do business with the Bitcoin (digital currency), and African countries are not staying out of it, and South Africa is at the forefront, as it will be the first African country to have a multicaixa that will allow purchases from Bitcoin.

A Vendibit, the blockchain South Africa, announced the opening of the first multicaixa updated with the technology blockchain Vendibit. The machine originally launched in 2014 to offer Bitcoin purchases will be available to the public and demonstrates how easy it is to buy digital coins like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum e South African Rand. The VTM is located inside the Spar-Northwold, found at the Northwold Junction Shopping Center in Randburg, on the outskirts of Johannesburg, South Africa.

Vendibit's senior blockchain consultant, Daniel Cappiello, a partner in several projects around the world, expects South Africans to join the global digital finance revolution, allowing anyone with a simple smartphone to experience digital currency for themselves. Cappiello has overseen several VTM deployments in the Americas, Europe and Asia since 2014.

Vendibit believes that the customer should always come first. Cryptocurrencies are still new in South Africa, so making information readily available and understandable to a wide audience is vital. The company is focused on its “5-C” strategy, which emphasizes Customers, Compliance, Money, Convenience and Cryptocurrencies.

Will we ever have this multicaixa in Angola?
