A Africell, the fourth mobile operator in Angola, launched this Thursday, 7th, in Luanda, its services in the country, thus taking another significant step towards the transformation of the telecommunications sector.

The ceremony took place in one of the hotel units in the country's capital and was attended by the Ambassador of the United States of America to Angola, Tulinabo S. Mushingi, the President and CEO of the Africell Group, Ziad Dalloul, as well as the CEO of Africell Angola , Cristopher Lundh, among other personalities of the National Executive.

This start-up comes after the company has consistently built infrastructure in Angola since obtaining the operating license in February, including opening of a data center in Luanda last October🇧🇷 Partnerships with local and international technology providers such as Nokia, Oracle e Angola Cables, helped create a high-quality 5G network that will enable fast, reliable and affordable telecommunications products and services. Africell has already invested over USD 100 million in Angola, including building physical infrastructure, and this rate of investment is expected to accelerate.

Africell is an operator that provides technology services to more than 12 million subscribers in four African countries, namely Sierra Leone, Gambia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda, and where in Angola, Africell is committed to providing network coverage mobile fast, secure and low cost.

Today also marks the opening of the first Africell flagship store, which represents a unique retail experience.
