The number of customers was disclosed in an official note, sent to the editorial office of MenosFios, where it also informed that the digital transformation in Angola is receiving a significant boost with the launch of the platform afrimoney, an innovative mobile money service operated by Africell. Supported by the connectivity of Angola's most recent mobile operator, Afrimoney will make essential financial instruments available to the Angolan population.

According to the company, Afrimoney intends to become an accessible and easy-to-use financial service, seeking to strengthen the Angolan financial landscape, through products and services that will be useful both to the banking population, but above all to those who are not yet integrated in the sector. formal economic sector, thus building itself as a “bridge” between the two economic sectors, and thus a social elevator as a tool for financial inclusion.

From their mobile phones, Afrimoney users will be able to make digital transactions with other individuals and organizations, on the platform, being able to deposit, transfer and withdraw money instantly, in a safe and transparent environment.
