On the issue of documentation, the manager says that there is still a lack of licensing of sites, regularization of tariffs, among other regulatory details, which are the responsibility of the Angolan Communications Institute (INACOM).

In this same path, the national director of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, Matias Borges, guaranteed that the Angolan Government will continue to provide the necessary support so that Africell's entry into operation takes place within the programmed deadline, that is, in December of this year. The director also stated that with the entry into operation of the new operator in this sector, the market will be more attractive, giving users several options, especially for regions with a low level of coverage.

To inform you that in February this year, the Angolan Communications Institute (INACOM) and Africell signed a Concession Contract for the Provision of Electronic Communications Services, licensing this operator with the Unified Global Title (TGU).

The contract entitles the operator to sell electronic communications products and provide traditional and financial services via mobile phone (Mobile Money), throughout the national territory.

In a first phase, the operator will launch services with full coverage in the province of Luanda, followed by the other provinces of the country.

It is an investment of around US$300 million that will initially provide 400 direct jobs and 100 indirect jobs.
