AGT launches tax simulator

General Administration Tax (AGT), launched on its portal a simulator that allows public or private employees to know the amounts they will be paying in relation to the Work Income Taxes (IRT) and also Social Security values.

According to AGT, the IRT is levied on income on its own account or on behalf of others, expressed in cash, even if earned in kind, of a contractual or non-contractual nature, periodic or occasional, fixed or variable, regardless of their source, location , currency, form stipulated for its calculation and payment.

The tax simulator contains three groups which are as follows:

  • Group A: are all wages perceived by employees and paid by an employer under the employment relationship as defined in the general labor law.
  • Group B: are all the remunerations perceived by the self-employed workers who perform, independently, activities included in the list of professions, attached to this law.
  • Group C: are all wages perceived by employees and paid by an employer under the employment relationship as defined under the general labor law.

AGT advances that, constitutes income from work all the remunerations perceived as wages, salaries, salaries, fees, covenants, bonuses, subsidies, bonuses, commissions, participations, attendance vouchers, emoluments, participation in fines, costs, commercial income and as well as other remunerations.
