A Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), informed developers that in the coming weeks more nine countries will change the App Stores payment system, including three countries in the African continent.
The number of Africans who purchase App Store has been increasing. Therefore, this number may be even higher if sales start to be made by the currencies of more countries in the continent.
The new nine countries are: Qatar, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Philippines, Malasia, Niga © ria, Paquistão, Tanzania e Vietnam . Apple also made a point of warning that, in Egypt, as the government has declared that a VAT of 13% will be charged above the prices presented in the App Store, according to the new regime.
As can be seen in the aforementioned Apple communiqué, the change will also affect the developers themselves, who will proceed to receive the amounts in their local currency instead of receiving in dollars.
However, this change from Apple, can be great and we hope that, the next time the American company decides to implement changes in more countries in the application purchase system in the App Store, Angola can really be part of the selected ones.
