A Amazon announced that it will invest an additional $4 billion (€3,83 billion) in Anthropic, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) company and one of the biggest rivals of OpenAI.
In the announcement, Amazon noted that Amazon Web Services infrastructure would be the “main training partner” for Anthropic’s technology – known as Claude – which is expected to be the basis of a more advanced version of the digital assistant Alexa.

It is worth noting that last September Amazon had already invested 1,25 billion dollars and that, in March, it had already invested 2,75 billion dollars in Anthropic.
