Twitter AppsAfter we create our account and We started using Twitter., it's annoying to always have to go to the Twitter site to update our profile. This is why most Twitter users update their accounts more by using mobile devices. For example, data from ComScore indicate that Twitter had something like 6,7 million active daily users in August this year in the US. There are also those who prefer to use even by the computer, but using alternative applications.

We will show here 3 good applications to use Twitter: Twitter (Official Application), TweetDeck and the TweetCaster.

There are others as good as these, or even better, but we chose 3 that in the end will meet our needs and the quality of internet services that we have in our country (Angola).

These 3 applications have versions for different platforms:

  • Twitter: Android, RIM (BlackBerry), IOS, Windows Phone, Symbian and the PC version.
  • TweetCaster: Android, RIM (BlackBerry), IOS, Windows Phone.
  • TweetDeck: Android, IOS, Windows Phone and the PC version.

Twitter (“Twitter, Inc.”)

Twitter is the name that has the official application created by “Twitter, Inc.”. The Desktop version is the one where we all have our first contact with Twitter, version
this one that has “stolen” a lot of various applications that have appeared, in an attempt to remain attractive. After the Twitter population soared, Twitter Inc has invested heavily in its official app,

In the Desktop version (For PC's) we are not able to know when we have new tweets, unless we have the Twitter page always visible, that is, we do not receive notifications. This is one of the main cons of Twitter. It has a simple and intuitive interface, although after using other applications, I confess that I get a little lost when I use it again. The Mobile version is a reflection of the Desktop, with a simple interface and has all the basic functionality that any other application can offer us.
