Angola reaches the podium at the World Robotics Championship

Angola finished in second place (silver medal) in the 2023 edition of the world robotics championship for students (under 18 years old), called FIRST GLOBAL, taking place from October 06th to 11th in Singapore, with a group of students led by arotec (Angolan startup in the robotics and technology sector).

The national team's unique achievement was due to its unique and creative approach, standing out from the start, demonstrating an exceptional combination of talent, technique and teamwork.

The Angolan team was made up of students who were qualified after winning the national robotics championship called CANAR, namely 5 students, 2 mentors and 1 coach representing technological advances in the area of ​​robotics in Singapore.
