Angola presents the UN national report on innovation, technology and entrepreneurship

Angola will present to the United Nations its report on the Review of the National Policy on Science, Technology, Innovation and the Study on the Diagnosis of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Angola.

The document will be presented at the twenty-sixth session of the Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD), an event that serves for strategic planning, provides forecasts on critical trends regarding Science, Technology and Innovation in key sectors of the Economy, Environment and Society.

Taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, from the 27th to the 31st of March 2023, at the Palácio das Nações, the Angolan delegation is led by Minister of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Maria do Rosário Bragança.

The CSTD will also address emerging and disruptive technologies, as well as addressing two priority topics, namely technology and innovation for cleaner, more productive and competitive production; ensuring safe drinking water and sanitation for all: a science, technology and innovation solution.

Please note that CSTD is a subsidiary body of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and the focal point of the United Nations in the analysis of how Science, Technology and Innovation (STI), including Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), serve as enablers of the 2030 Agenda.
