According to Ângelo Gama, CEO of Angola Cables, the adoption of virtualization solutions can reduce operating costs up to 40%. "Virtualization is shaping the digital ecosystem as more companies look for greater flexibility and savings to adapt to a post-COVID work environment."

Angola Cables' virtual routers will be expanded in the future, and customers will be able to access destinations in the US via Miami (MI3), New York (NYC1) and Brazil (AngoNAP Fortaleza), and this will be the preferred destination for digital companies in Africa , Europe or Asia.

It will also allow customers to organize their networks and services in strategic locations (IP nodes), with minimal CAPEX expenses and save on costs associated with data center services, such as implementation, hardware and energy.

Due to mobility restrictions resulting from the pandemic, the Virtual Router offers a complete solution for connectivity, presence in hubs, central IP and the opportunity for companies to expand their network services, reducing logistical complexities and saving costs.

The model guarantees a variety of technical features similar to a physical router, such as 1GE to 100GE port options, multi-user access, routing separation, IPv4 and IPv6 support and partial & full routing table.
