Angola Cables presents international projects at Futurecom 2017

A Angola Cables, the Angolan telecommunications multinational, will present important news about its international telecommunication projects at Futurecom 2017.

Angola Cables will participate in a panel that will address the essential factors that make possible the use of submarine cables. The company will have a stand of 50 square meters on E12 street and will attend a panel dedicated to the theme submarine cables.

Artur Mendes, commercial director and marketing of Angola Cables, added that "data center and cable projects are important steps in the company's affirmation, which will serve as a digital bridge for the main centers for the production and hosting of telecommunications content, products and services.

The submarine systems are composed of the WACS (West AfricanCableSystem), which currently connects 11 countries of the African West coast to three Europeans and is in the process of expansion.

It is known that Angola Cables still owns Angonap, a datacenter located in Luanda, already operational and in the process of expansion, and the data center in Fortaleza, under construction. The latter, together with SACS and Monet, required an investment of around USD 300 million.

The event takes place between the 2 and 5 days of October, at the Transamérica Expo Center, in São Paulo, Federative Republic of Brazil.
