Angola Cables establishes new interconnection agreements for traffic exchange

A Angola Cables continues its commitment to make the Internet service in Angola faster and more accurate, thus facilitating Internet providers in Angola , providing more speed in the delivery of services to final customers.

In this way, Angola Cables has established new traffic agreements that will interconnect Angola to the following points of peering to IXP's da DE-CIX (with access points in France and Spain), the Espanix (in Spain), the France - IX (in France), the AMS - IX (in the Netherlands) and NAP Africa (in South Africa). The aim is to ensure a higher quality and shorter access times for users in your network.

Angola Cables has recently made available to its customers IP an open traffic policy at traffic exchange points (IXPs) Angonix (in Luanda), Gigapix (in Portugal), LINX (in London) and DE-CIX (in Frankfurt).

These new interconnection agreements are part of the Angola Cables strategy, which aims at continuously improving the quality of service provided to its customers in Angola and other African countries, as well as significantly reducing the time of sending and receiving information by your customers.

It is also worth noting that this strategy is supported on the submarine cable WACS (West Africa Cable System), at a time when the BAGS (South Atlantic Cable System), which will link Luanda (Angola) and Fortaleza (Brazil), with completion scheduled for 2018.
