Angola Cables will be in the African Peering Forum

Recently the Angola Cables has put its platform of traffic exchange among the first in Africa, since it doubled its traffic, leaving 5.2 Gbps in February for 10.8 Gbps registered in the 19 day of July of 2017, an important data, that puts the IXP Angolan among the top three in Africa.

The manager of the third largest African traffic Angonix, will participate, between the 22nd and 24th of August, in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, in the African Peering Forum, one of the largest telecommunications events in the African continent. During the event, the role of Angonix and the Angola Cables IP network will be highlighted due to their relevance in the African telecommunications map

According to Darwin Costa (IP Manager of Angola Cables), peering agreements will be strengthened in order to link new networks with interested members.

Angola Cables' participation will also inform African operators about the state of development of their projects, especially as they are recognized as important to the ecosystem actors in Africa, as they will be faster and will connect the African continent to the largest production and storage centers for digital products and services.

For all intents and purposes, this event will serve to create business opportunities among African operators, attract the largest number of entities to our infrastructures, as well as keep our clients and partners informed about the progress of our major projects, in particular, the Many and the BAGS.
