Angola Cables in recent times has greatly expanded its IP network, thus strengthening its interconnection in Africa, Europe and America. Having recently established a partnership with DE-CIX.

After this partnership, the Angolan telecommunications multinational, Angola Cables added, in the last weeks, new points of exchange of traffic in Brazil (São Paulo and Fortaleza) and in the United States (Miami, New York and Ashburn).

Second Darwin Coast (IP Product Manager of Angola Cables), the new interconnection points will significantly improve the overall performance of the Angola Cables network and significantly reduce the latency in the global communications of users of our network, making it more robust and reliable.

At the moment, Angola Cables currently has peering within the following traffic exchange points: Angonix (Luanda Angola), GigaPIX (Lisbon, Portugal), LINX (London, United Kingdom), DE-CIX (Frankfurt, Germany), AMS-IX (Amsterdam, Netherlands), France-IX (Marseille, France), Espanix (Madrid, Spain) and Nap from Africa (Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa).

With the Many, a submarine cable system linking Brazil to the United States, there is a significant improvement in connectivity and capacity between the two countries.
