The information was revealed at an audience with the Vice-President of the Republic, Esperança da Costa, with the Chinese ambassador, Gong Tao, who also served to talk about the state of diplomatic and commercial relations between the two countries, with a focus on socio-economic progress.

"It was an excellent occasion that served to evaluate the multiple bilateral relations existing for four decades”, was revealed in an official statement.

The Chinese Ambassador stressed that Angola and his country share values ​​that “are mutually benefiting the two States, and help to achieve socio-economic progress”, at a time when Angola seeks to diversify its economy, seeking Chinese experience.

Gong Tao reported that the Huawei built a new technology park, at Talatona, which, in addition to providing jobs for young people, will also partner with various ministries and economic entities to provide intensive courses in technology.

On the other hand, he reiterated that Huawei's new park will also train young talents in Angola, with the aim of contributing to training in the use of modern technologies.

According to the Chinese diplomat, his Government will continue to offer scholarships to young Angolans to take courses in Chinese universities in Physics, Mathematics, Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, Informatics and Medicine.
