For smartphone users who like streaming, mobile data is not cheap. The cost of a gigabytes varies widely between countries. The British price comparison website “cable.co.uk”Recently released a major global analysis that focused on 5.554 data plans in 228 countries between February 3 and February 25, 2020. The average cost of a gigabyte (1 GB) was then calculated and compared to form a table list of mobile data prices per country.

India is the cheapest country to use a gigabyte of Internet for mobile data, with an average cost of just 0,9 USD. Israel came in 2nd place with 0,11 USD, while the Quirguistão completed the Top 3 with 0,21 USD.

What position is Angola in?

When looking at the list of countries with the lowest cost of mobile data, it was found that Angola is in 170th place, with an average cost of 1GB worth 5,29 USD, in the national currency with an estimated value of 3.000,00 Kz, about 9 functional plans in the country.

As for a possible reduction or increase in the average value of the price of mobile data in Angola, everything will depend on the scenario that national operators will offer the population, remember that Angola now has 4 operators, where two are in full operation (UNITEL e MOVICEL), and the other two will start operating soon (Angorascom e Africell).
