Angola establishes new technological order to boost digital transformation, says minister

Angola currently has a new technological order in Angola, in order to make tools for digital transformation available to companies and citizens, in the opinion of the Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, Mário Oliveira.

The leader who spoke at the opening of the 2nd Internet Governance Forum in Angola, stressed that all innovations are in fact at the service of the economy, academia, companies and citizens, it is necessary that we “also have a robust telecommunications infrastructure that can support all traffic demand.

"With this Forum we want to celebrate the 50 years of our Independence and take advantage of these moments to reaffirm our patriotic spirit and our commitment to citizenship towards economic and social progress for the benefit of all Angolans.", said.

The event was promoted by the National Institute for the Promotion of the Information Society (INFOSI), under the motto: “For a safe, inclusive and sustainable internet” and aims to bring together several experts to analyze and discuss the future of this work tool.

According to the organization, Internet Governance refers to the process of establishing rules, regulations, policies and principles that guide the use, development and administration of the Internet on a global, regional and national scale.
