The country recently gained an Academy of Information and Communication Technology Huawei Africa, aimed at training and developing digital talents, in the municipality of Talatona, in Luanda.
The infrastructure is made up of three specialized areas such as “Leadership”, “Innovation” and “Talents” and is expected to train more than three thousand professionals per year.
Huawei Africa’s Information and Communications Technology Academy will offer “Digital Leadership” courses for ICT professionals and public servants in person and virtually, between 17 and 29 March this year.
In turn, the training courses will be open to the general public, virtually, between October 6th and 17th, and registration can be done through a registration form, JA Online found out.
The inauguration ceremony was witnessed by the Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication (MINTTICS), Mário Oliveira, and the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Angola, Zhang Bin.
Speaking at the event, the head of the MINTTICS portfolio said that training young people is one of the Government's priorities for the country's development.
