According to information Portal Angop, Infrasat was elected the best company on the African continent in the satellite telecommunications sector, specifically in the satellite data transport service (GSM Backhaul). This premium was granted on 23 at the conference Satcom2014, South Africa, home to the largest satellite communications companies in Africa.
For a company that has existed for only 6 years, being in the communications elite in Africa is an impressive feat. This fact was supported, in a press conference, by the administrator of Angola Telecom for the area of operations of the Infrasat, Manuel Antonio, who said the following:
It was with great honor that we received this award, because last year we did not win but we were among the best, so we worked hard to bring this trophy to Angola as a symbol of our work and dedication
It should be recalled that in the list of companies competing for the prize were giants of the African market, such as Vodacom South Africa and Multichoice Africa.
In Angola, Infrasat is known for projects with WOW TV, but is involved in other government communication projects.
