[Angola] Movicel forgets to say "Hello" to its customers

If something positive can be said about the Movicel is that it sends a lot of messages to its customers to warn about everything that is happening with their cell phone. From the very useful information about the balance whenever each call ends, to the messages to warn whenever a plan is activated or ends. It was for this reason with great astonishment that Movicel's customers who use the “Alô Mundo” plan saw the plan change without them receiving any information.

Movicel Alo Mundo

The famous plan “Hello World”Made it possible for Movicel customers to only speak for 900 kz for 30 minutes a week to almost any country in the world outside Angola. Unfortunately, what is good does not last forever, and although a tariff effectiveness period was never announced, it “ended”. It cannot be said that the tariff has ended because it still exists only that instead of the 30 minutes that we previously had with the 900 kz, it is only 9 minutes. However, despite the fact that the messages that Movicel sends its customers the cheapest mobile phone operator in Angola are so frequent, it did not inform its customers of the change, which led many customers to activate the services convinced that they would have 30 minutes of conversation and only get the 9 minutes that I already mentioned. This failure in communication has led to several protests from customers, for example Carla Rita , one of the clients of this operator wrote the following in the official Movicel on facebook page:

“Well, ñ I was informed of the end of the plan and because of that I did the loading convinced that I would have the 30 min to speak because if I knew ñ I would have resorted to you, there are other cheaper alternatives than the 13,99 UTTs q now offer… ”“ The hello world plan we all know is to speak 30 min within a week and if it’s over then change the name… ”

Despite this unannounced change, one can only criticize the fact that Movicel has not therefore announced anything to anyone, since this tariff remains the cheapest option for making international calls. 9 minutes per 900 kz equals 13,9 Utts per minute at any time and for almost any country, while international calls from the Unitel range from 15 Utts per minute (from 22 pm to 7 am for "group A") to 60 UTTs per minute (from 7 am to 22 pm for "group D")
