The TV Band began broadcasting last Thursday, 28 of November, with entertainment and information content. In the presentation to the press, which took place yesterday, in Chá de Caxinde, in Luanda, the leaders of the new channel announced soap operas, entertainment programs, music, humor and sports.

All this and more, in Portuguese language and with content produced specifically for the Angolan public. Available on the 524 channel of the DStv platform and with a daily broadcast of 24 hours, the TV Band intends to attract all age groups with its diversified programming and the appreciation of local content. This will be augmented with quality foreign productions in order to offer you the best entertainment possible. "The channel has the ambition to reach the heart of Angolans," said Emídio Rangel, content director of TV Band.

In the Caxinde Tea, AfroMusic Channel's president, Manuel Domingues, the Communications and Public Relations Officer of Multichoice / DStv in Angola, Adilson Garcia, and William "King of Love", the Angolan artist who will be the face of a of the station's programs. For Adilson Garcia, "TV Band represents the beginning of a process that DStv wants to consolidate in Angola. From informative and leisure morning content, animation blocks aimed at children or adult entertainment programs, the broadcasting time will also include soap operas for teenagers in the late afternoon. In prime-time, will have productions directed to the adult audience.
