A startup Media Touch, with the “MoMenu” project, was the big winner of the “MEP Challenge” contest at the Angola Startup Summit 2023, which served as an opportunity for startups and technology companies to present their innovative proposals in the field of catering services.
The “MoMenu” project consists of a technological solution for the catering services sector, where the central idea is to transform the way customers interact with the menus of establishments, offering a more intuitive, personalized and technologically advanced experience. Through the service, customers can access restaurant menus digitally and interactively.
The innovative design also allows users to view photos and detailed descriptions of the dishes, order directly through the application, customize their meals according to their preferences and make payment in a safe and convenient way.
"When we were given the challenge of developing a technological solution for catering services, we knew we were facing a challenging scenario. However, we firmly believe in the potential of technology to transform and improve food services and it was with this belief that we conceived the MoMenu project.“, said Célio Garcia, General Director of Toque Media.

In addition, the project also offers benefits to participating establishments, as restaurants can dynamically manage their menus, updating information and prices in real time.
“MoMenu” also provides data and analysis on behavior, as well as a module for fairs, where customers can access the restaurants present at the event and place orders and reservations, thus avoiding long queues.
It should be noted that several startups participated in the MEP Challenge, submitting their proposals and presenting creative solutions. However, the “MoMenu” project, developed by Toque Media, stood out and was awarded as the best technological solution. In addition to receiving 10 Million Kwanzas as a prize, the startup will have support at the consultancy level to leverage the project.
