Let's go in parts, first we need to know that "A Journey to the World of Science, Technology and Innovation"Is a sociocultural program which integrates the presentation of theater plays in schools to demonstrate to young people that the areas of science and technology are very valid career options and should be considered for the choice of their professions in the future. This program is an initiative of the Ministry of Science and Technology counts on the partnership of the Ministry of Education (MED). Already passed through the provinces of Luanda, Benguela, Lunda Sul, Lunda Norte, Malanje, Cabinda and Zaire.
Between the 12 and 13 days of September (tomorrow and later) the program will reach six more schools, covering about 8100 students in the Uíge Province. In keeping with the commitment to bring this educational program to the young students of the 200 schools, selected by the Ministry of Education, in the 18 provinces of Angola, MINCT intends to promote in the students a greater knowledge in the areas of science and technology, and young people to opt for these professional areas.
In total, this program will reach about 100 thousand students, more than 11 years old, who attend the school years of the 1 º Cycle of Secondary Education, but also to the more than four thousand teachers, which include teachers and pedagogical coordinators , which are part of educational establishments. Along with the students and teachers, the project "A Journey to the World of Science, Technology and Innovation" also wants to reach parents, parents, parents and the communities themselves, ensuring the involvement of all.
"A Journey to the World of Science, Technology and Innovation" is an initiative of MINCT, in partnership with MED, is being developed by TheBridge Angola, a company specialized in social responsibility, and also has the support of INNOVATION - the first Angolan consumer electronics brand - which considers this to be an effective way to promote scientific knowledge in schools in Angola.
