About the construction of Angosat-2, Manuel Homem said that some challenges and problems were encountered, since some components are produced in Russia and others acquired outside the Russian Federation.

"When evaluating a project temporarily, it is necessary to anticipate certain circumstances that are beyond our control, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, which meant that Angolan specialists could not travel freely to Russia and vice versa, in addition to having third countries involved in the creation of the satellite”He concluded.

In the same interview, Manuel Homem stressed that the Angolan government believes in the success of the project, aware of the possibility of some problems in the engineering part, as they can never be discarded, among other unpredictable ones.
