The 2024 edition of AngoTic There was a massive presence of several young people, which represents a great satisfaction for the Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, Mário Oliveira.
The leader, who spoke during the review of the three days of the International Technology Forum, highlighted that this year, the event had the participation of 128 startups, which in his opinion represents a significant milestone.
"This number is extremely important for us because it shows us the vivacity and resilience of our youth who want to do a lot for the development of our country. We had a total of 100 companies registereds”, he highlighted.
The minister also added that at least 48 themes were developed by national and foreign speakers, of which 76 were international.

The minister toured all areas that hosted services and events linked to Angotic/2024. He received explanations from the organization and left instructions for every detail, so that the “Angola ICT Forum 2024”, initiated by the Government of Angola and organized by MINTTICS, has surpassed the previous edition and lives up to the motto “Digitalize, Connect and Innovate” .
According to the event's spokesperson and National Director for Institutional Communication, João Demba, 125 startups and another 70 exhibiting companies were registered for the event, with no more space for startups.
