According to the Angolan newspaper, this has been a very regular situation for the public company, and that the cause of these incidents is the aging of its software, combined with the lack and delay in maintenance, as well as debts with the service providers.
"We spent the weekend working and today (Monday) we are already receiving calls, but we still haven't been able to make", clarifies the source to the newspaper, and where he adds that if the situation drags on, "one day it will affect transit traffic and international calls from mobile operators".
Manuel César, head of Angola Telecom's communications office, when asked by Jornal Valor Económico about these "blackouts", initially said he was not aware of the situation, but, on second contact, declined to make any kind of statement about the situation. subject matter.
