Only 21 out of every 100 people in Angola use the internet, out of the country's more than 33 million inhabitants, according to the most recent figures from the National Institute of Communications (INACOM).
According to data from the Angolan institution, by the third quarter of 2021, the country had around 7,18 million internet users, These numbers are considered low based on other countries on the African continent. and where the numbers presented may not be exactly in line with reality, since three quarters have passed, that is, nine months without updating the state of the internet in the country.
From the beginning of the year to the end of the third quarter, in nine months, more than 313 thousand subscribers subscribed to the Internet service, a growth of 4,3% for the period. All subscription types are aggregated in these numbers.

In terms of internet subscription quotas per operator to be Unitel it is positioned at the forefront with 87% of subscribers, over 6,2 million.
