The application "Zenga”, launched by the Municipal Administration of Cazenga, which allows managing all static advertising in that region of Luanda, was one of the highlights of the eighth edition of “Portugal Smart Cities Summit”, the smart cities summit, last week.

According to the Administrator of Cazenga, Tomás Bica, the innovative application is a reality that converges with the concept of “smart cities”, considering that Cazenga's participation in this exhibition of smart solutions for cities aims to deepen knowledge about what is being done in Portugal and in the world, within the scope of sustainability and territorial intelligence.

"In Angola, static advertising has passed to the direct management of municipalities, and for this reason, in Cazenga, we have created the 'Zengá' digital platform, to manage all advertising. Hence, our participation in this event will make us learn and gain more experience and knowledge regarding a set of strategies that our administration has to implement in the municipality.”, said Tomás Bica, present at the event.

The “Portugal Smart Cities Summit”, is the main event dedicated to smart cities, being held by the AIP Foundation and took place at the Lisbon International Fair (FIL), in Parque das Nações.

As a meeting point for the sector, the event had a program of conferences for the three days and an exhibition of various products and technological solutions and beyond.

The event included conferences that addressed current themes for the future of cities, namely "Autarchy, Companies and Citizens", "Financing the Green and Digital Transformation of Cities", "Modernization and Sustainability of Urban Water Services" and "Energy Transition: Production , Self-sufficiency, Storage and the Citizen”.

About the “Zengá” application, in addition to managing static advertising, it allows you to create solutions to facilitate the relationship between economic operators from various sectors and the State Administration.

From what has been revealed, the application is preparing to launch the Single Licensing Portal, which aims to allow entrepreneurs, in a single space and electronically, to request documents such as commercial license, construction license, industrial license, related services, as well as pay various taxes.
