A European Union determined that the USB-C connector will become mandatory in the chargers of all electronic devices, namely tablets, headphones and also mobile phones. Naturally, this measure focused attention on the Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, who still use Lightning connector on their iPhones.
Well then! tell the Bloomberg that Apple's marketing manager, Greg Joswiak, said during a conference by The Wall Street Journal that the company intends to comply with the European directive. However, the executive did not say when the change from Lightning to USB-C will occur.
BUT: Apple already has plans to implement USB-C in its products
It is worth remembering that the obligation to include USB-C in electronic devices will only come into force, but, according to the North American publication, Apple has plans to make the change as early as next year.
It is also good to emphasize that this will not be the first time that Apple has integrated the USB-C connector in its devices, with some of the brand's products having already been the target of this change.
