Three years after the Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), launched the AirPods Pro, the company finally released the second incarnation of the headphones at its big hardware that just happened. Previous reports indicated that the AirPods Pro 2 would not have significant design changes, with most of the changes reserved for the interior. But there's one big upgrade on the outside: touch controls. User will be able to control audio playback and volume with swipe gestures on stems of the AirPods Pro.
The new headphones are powered by a new chip, the H2. Apple claims this will help the AirPods Pro cancel up to twice as much noise. You can also expect an updated transparency mode. There is also a new driver which can help improve the audio quality and there is support for spatial audio and dynamic head tracking. Additionally, you can use your iPhone's camera to set up a custom spatial audio profile.
AirPods Pro lovers don't have to wait too long to get their hands on the second generation AirPods Pro: they will be available to order on September 9th for 249 USD equivalent to 105.657,672 kwanzas at the Banco Nacional de Angola exchange rate, and will be shipped from the 23rd of September.
