For some time now there has been information Samsung plans to launch smartphone with foldable screen, that is, a flexible screen that unfolds in the shape of a tablets of 7 inches.
Apparently Samsung is not the only one with these plans, since now rumors are emerging that Apple is preparing an iPhone with a foldable screen in collaboration with LG.
This is not the first time we've heard rumors of a future iPhone with a foldable screen. In December 2016 rumors suggested that LG would start producing mass-folding screens for smartphones already on 2018, and it is said that Apple could be one of the possible partners.
LG has shown several prototypes of collapsible screens in the last two years, including one that doubles as a book and a second that rolls much like a newspaper.
Unfortunately there is still no guarantee on this matter. The sources consulted said that the production of this foldable iPhone could only start in 2020, which puts the foldable iPhone at least two years behind Samsung.
