A Apple appears to have begun taking steps to convince the Indonesian government to stop ban the sale and use of the iPhone 16 and the Apple Watch Series 10, ensuring that it will invest 10 million dollars in a new factory in the country.

The information is being released by Bloomberg News and comes about a week after the Indonesian government announced the decision, resulting from a law in the country that requires companies to make 40% of locally produced content available.

BUT: After iPhone 16, Google's Pixel 9 is also banned in Indonesia

The proposal has already been presented to the Ministry of Industry and Apple is currently waiting for the ban to be lifted.
