A note by Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu and shared by MacRumors website indicates that Apple may decide to increase the price of its iPhones in 2023.
As the publication says, this price increase concerns the new Pro models – known for now as iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Reportedly, this will be the first price increase for iPhones in the US since the introduction of the iPhone X in 2017.
BUT: New iPhones will have design changes
It should be remembered that the price of iPhones has been consistent in several markets outside the US (including Portugal), but if this news holds, it is likely that we will see further increases in Apple phones in more territories beyond the US.
Note, however, that increases are not foreseen for the remaining two iPhone 15 models that will also hit the market.
