Apple will limit the USB-C port of iPhone

In order to obey the rules imposed by the European Union, the Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), should start adopting a USB-C port on its iPhones this year – as already happens in other company products.

However, says a rumor shared on the Chinese social network Weibo (via MacRumors), that the series iPhone 15 should limit the USB-C accessories that can be used to authorized peripherals with an IC interface. This interface allows the company to control the information shared between the iPhone and other devices.

BUT: Apple admits it has no choice and will adopt USB-C for the iPhone

Assuming that the iPhone 15 will actually have this system, if you buy a cable that is not official from Apple, you may receive a message on your cell phone indicating that the accessory is not supported by the company.

At the moment this is information that has not yet been confirmed by the company, so we will have to wait a little longer to find out how Apple intends to adopt the USB-C connector.
