Bengo: NGO promotes education and digital inclusion in the community of Santa Mboleia

The inauguration of the project “KidiMuene Lab”, a multifunctional room with the aim of boosting digital inclusion and quality vocational education in rural areas of our country through educational informatics, presenting new forms of knowledge through the appropriate use of new information technologies, in the town of Santa Mboleia, province of Bengo.

According to what was revealed in the presentation, the project “KidiMuene Lab” also has the background of training Angolan youth with vocational courses, financial education for local farmers, contributing to the formation of citizenship, as well as connecting local work with global dynamics.

"KidiMuene Lab's main objective is to promote the advancement of learning rates in rural areas via educational informatics, the presentation of new forms of knowledge through the appropriate use of new information technologies, training of youth in rural areas with vocational courses, as well as how to provide financial education to local farmers”, said Júlia Lopes Paulo, Project Coordinator at Change 1´s Life, a non-governmental organization with international roots.

The installation of the digital room is an action that fits in the project “Digital and Ecological Village”, which already included the inauguration of an amusement park, a health center, a community toilet and also the delivery of various goods to the community.

"Young people will be able to have access to practical technical training courses for a better insertion in the labor market and our children will finally be able to have access to digital education, thus guaranteeing their bright future in our country”, reinforced Júia Lopes Paulo, speaking to journalists present at the event.

It should be noted that the event was also attended by a delegation from the Provincial Government of Bengo and local authorities, as well as several partners and volunteers to witness the launch.
