Banco de Poupança e Crédito (BPC) informed customers that multicaixa debit cards issued, whose validity period was extended to 2020, based on the Presidential Decree on the State of Emergency, will be deactivated from 31 October of the current year.
According to the official note of that national banking institution, the “tholders of these cards should go to the nearest agency to request the issuance of new cards to replace the cards that will be deactivated on the date indicated above".

It should be noted that in the light of the diploma on the extension, on September 8, 2020, of the Public Calamity Situation, which started on May 26, several documents were reconsidered and kept useful, where multicaixa cards were included in this regard.
