with the url https://www.bpc.ao/, it is still in an experimental phase, as can be seen on the platform's home page, and it took all this time to be created because those responsible for the banking institution intended to recover all the information that they made available on the website below, after the cyber attack.

"This new site took as long as it did to create it, because we wanted to recover all the information from the other site. But, unfortunately, it was not possible despite our best efforts.", revealed an anonymous source to the weekly expansion.

According to the source, the new site will still be improved in order to comply with the requirements of the National Bank of Angola (BNA).

"The site is still experimental. We are working on it so that we can provide more regulatory information, products and other information required by the BNA“, he underlined.

It should be noted that on September 20, 2021, the technological platform supporting BPC's activities suffered a cyber attack of unknown origin and causes, where as soon as the attack was detected, the bank followed the security protocols provided to protect the integrity of the assets customers' financial statements and initiated a rigorous investigation into the occurrence.
