A province of Cabinda will have a Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant, within the scope of a Presidential Order authorizing the expense and formalizing the opening of the simplified contracting procedure for this public works contract.
According to the note issued by the New Journal, in addition to this power plant connected to the 90 MWp grid, the construction project also includes a 25 MWp Battery Storage System.
BUT: Five more provinces will gain photovoltaic energy parks
The referred public work will cost more than 141,7 million euros to the coffers of the Angolan State, where the Ministry of Energy and Water has the power to sub-delegate, to sign the contract with the company Elsewedy Electric.
On the other hand, it should also be informed that it is up to the Ministry of Finance to start negotiating the loan and sign all the documentation and contracts necessary for financing the project.
