“We intend to position Cape Verde as a digital 'hub' in Africa, with the capacity to attract leading investors, attract digital nomads, export goods and services, create a community of entrepreneurship and qualified employment for young people and enhance the centrality of our diaspora“, he also said, after listing the various technological changes in recent years in the country, such as the complete transition to Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) or the technological park in Praia and São Vicente, in the final phase.

The Leadership Summit Cabo Verde took place at the National Assembly and at the University of Cabo Verde, in Praia, and aims to be an annual event integrated into the Líder project, which replicates the Leadership Summit Portugal event internationally for the first time.
The technological event brought together dozens of speakers, Cape Verdeans and foreigners, from the areas of entrepreneurship and digital, around the theme “New Digital Leadership”, with the aim of debating the challenges faced by leaders in the face of technological transformation.
