The Angolan Public Television (TPA) online channel on YouTube was hacked, in the early hours of this Monday, and is being used for criminal purposes, revealed the institution's Multimedia Directorate.
According to director Sandra Mainsel, in an interview with the public television program Hora 10, TPA has already reported the situation to Google, where the account is associated, highlighting that viewers can follow the news services through other TPA tools on social networks.
In a recent report by Kaspersky, it was revealed that Angola is the only country in Africa where hacker attacks have increased, with a growth of 12%.
According to what the investigation reveals, the growth of cyber attacks in our country is contrary to a dynamic reflecting the global trend, since cybercriminals tend to invest less and less in threats mainstream that are successfully neutralized by modern security solutions.
