The digital wallet BAI Direct, which affects Banco Angolano de Investimentos (BAI), currently has more than 569.079 customers, who use the application to make payments and money transfers in real time.
The above figures were released in the report for the first half of 2022, presented this Friday (07), in Luanda, at a Press Conference, noting that it recorded an increase of over 32.942, compared to June 2021.
For Luís Lélis, Chairman of the Executive Committee of BAI, the BAI Directo service is the most referenced financial product in his institution's banking system, with the approximately 570 thousand who make use of the service representing 30% of the network.

According to the same report, BAI currently has 1.243.052 active debit cards, 31.693 active TPA and 437 distribution channels throughout the national territory. In terms of employees, that financial institution currently has 1.896 employees.
Until June of the current year, it recorded a total of AOA 2.449 billion in deposits, while the loan portfolio is situated at AOA 323 billion, which allowed a net result of AOA 40 billion.
The Bank's share capital is Kz 157.545.000.000, fully subscribed and paid up in cash, divided into 19.450 ordinary shares, with a nominal value of Kz 000 each.
